The proverb what I learnt in my school days was ” the Law makers should not be the Law breakers”. But now everything is completely upside down.Today in Chennai Law college located in Parry’s near Chennai High Court, turned into ugly because of a clash between the Law college students.The Law college students were been involved in brutal attack on each other with the sticks and stones.
It has been said that two days before already there was a clash between the two groups.Today this is tit for tat , and people who got attacked two days before took the revenge and attacked the other students unhumanly.A student was dragged and beaten up cruelly by two to three persons with logs.The student who got beating went unconsious and even then they haven’t stopped.Continous beatings and probably at the moment he must be in intensive care unit.Even many were attacked.The whole campus turned like a battle field and most worst thing was the police, watching all these things and did not involved in stopping them.Many were injured in this and finally at one stage everything has been stopped and like in Tamil Cinema, the Police came atlast and imposed a curfew in the campus.
Are these students who are going to be in the stage of justice? Are they going to fight for justice? These questions cannot be answered.The people who involved in the riot are not fit for lawyers and they immediately barred from the college as well as should be convicted.As an example, they should be issued an ordered of not entering into any of the Law colleges in India.
The future of Law is really bad and these people will really bring down the justice and will involve in anything if they want.So the Tamil Nadu Government should take necessary action against the students who involved in this issue without considering mercy on them.These people are not needed for the society where Law is important.

It is really pathetic to see such a condition in Chennai. The guy who collapsed due to thrashing must be dead by now. Because he was attacked even after he fainted. I have never seen such a horror scene even in films.

This is really a shame to the Law college ppl. though these kind of happenings occur frequently they havent received this kind of public attention. there appears to be a conspiracy behind this. Tensions were prevailing in the campus for a couple of days. Wat was the Principal upto ? Wat were the police upto, jus assembling in front of the college and waiting for principal’s complaint while ppl were nearly killing one .This is ridiculous? Whatever be the grudges , a human’s life is a life and these ppl ll know it only if their lives are at stake.

Police i think,it is better for them to go home and do their household work. God, that place looked like hell. The boy who was beaten by nearly five to six members would have been dead by now. I haven’t seen such a fierceful attack in my lifetime. It is a real shame for the police department. The government should take immediate steps to find out the students involved and they should be dismissed from the college and put in prison. It is the major mistake of the college staffs who didn’t seem to consider this problem.
I see that the current situation in many Asian countries is all based on Violence. Gang battles should be abolished. Rather than having a comment on the heat of the event, we as the people who are interested in the welfare of community should thereby make a call to the government for strict laws. These students, which is very ironic to say are qualifying to be lawyers. They are barbaric and violent to make up for their shortcomings. They should be banned from their universities. Police and law has to make sure that these things don’t happen and inturn there should be a balance between Police control over these sensitive issues. The goverment is run by a fair bunch of uneducated clowns so we cannot expect any major changes, whatsoever. In Private institutions u cannot dream any thing like this because they pay huge amount as fees to get admission and qualify for the degree. There govt college students come and study become low fees and no donations and indulge such unwanted things. The only solution is make all law colleges private and fees should be hiked 100 times. when the students know value of money they will surely behave properly. The madras law college should be closed and privitised immediately.

When this thing happened i.e the guy got beaten even after he fainted has also did another cruel activity that u all do not know he is the one who took a knife and went to kill the persons who finally beat him to unconscious. Has per the wording Katti etduthavanuku kattiyala than savvuuu…. Has worked for him. But I won’t support those cruel persons who beat him even after unconscious. They has to be arrested. If u watch the photos that are published u can conclude that this is not done by gangsters instead it was executed by 3-4 people only with iron rods and pipe. The whole world is shocked by this brutal TV footage. Here in Canada, whoever i spoke to have only 3 words to say. “THIS IS INSANE” .
Point No.1 : No matter what the reason was that trigerred this violence, its so shameful for the youngsters who kept on beating the man even after he fainted. This means that their intention was to kill rather than just to assault him. Whoever has been arrested should be brought to justice and should be given life imprisonment for murdering a human being.
Point No.2 : There were a good number of cops at the scene and they could’ve easily overpowered the people who were brutally beating the fainted person. If the cops were so scared to go near the attackers then at least they could have fired some rounds in the air or fired at least one attacker in his leg, so that others would get scared and run from the site. But they were just standing their like a bunch of “Eunuchs” and watching their mothers being rap*d by the gang.
This is a blood boiling situation. I wish i would NOT HAVE SEEN this news on the TV. My soul has been badly shaken, and my thinking about the police as “Serve and Protect” has been shattered to pieces. This is horror. I now understand how people dare to murder and kill others. All this not between races not between different caste groups r lingos, juz between 2 sets of students. some 35 hard hits everywhere on one guy is enough to break him for life. why the fury? Has this guy murdered someone? For some dual among students would they beat one another so bad. Animals attack their own species with a purpose and in NGC and discovery I have seen animals stop attacking after the contender submits. But these guys are so brutal to throw a stone as big as the size of a head even though the guy can barely move. O what a horror….. how will these guys know what is love.
